Event “Bestemming Suriname” is about creating a chance for a golden future for Suriname if we invest and motivate towards development instead of donation. On the 25th of November 2010 Suriname will celebrate its 35th year of independence. The reduction of the Dutch development help fits in this progress. The time has come for a new and adult relation between The Netherlands and Suriname as equal partners.
