This public private partnership (PPP) is an initiative set up by First Climate and the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC). Its goal is to develop a certificate-based financing mechanism for water projects in order to raise funds for water projects where problems like water stress and water pollution are particularly pressing. Over a period of 2 years the partners will develop the standards, methodologies and guidelines required to develop and fund water projects in a credible, transparent and sustainable manner.
